Our Process
We educate the children daily, through a routine plan based on the following educational philosophy:
- Children learn through active exploration. They explore/experiment and discover solutions through active projects and material
- Children initiate their own learning. They spend a major portion of their day exploring freely, which is supported and guided by their childcare provider.
- Learning comes from open-ended experiences. Each child is encouraged to exercise imagination and reasoning skills through creative problem solving.
- Adults are the facilitators of childhood learning. Providers encourage children to ask questions and initiate discussions. Our objective is to stimulate and make learning enjoyable.
Our Safety Standards
Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our center maintains strict guidelines for cleanliness and security.
Rest assured, when your child is in our program (pandemic or not) all BBKCH teachers and staff are trained on health and safety practices we’ve developed to set a new standard in child care.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to follow the latest guidance from medical advisors, state and local health departments, and the CDC.
Our Staff are:
- First Aid and CPR certified.
- Screened by the Department of Justice
- Trained in Early Childhood Education and Recreation
- Required to attend staff development and skill-building workshops including health and cleaning reviews

provides an understanding of children’s play, well-planned and organized play opportunities, and concrete information for creating and scaffolding engaging play environments.
Beyond Cribs and Rattles
provides caregivers of infants and toddlers knowledge about the creation and implementation of loving, playful, developmentally appropriate experiences for infants and toddlers.
Montessori Method
emphasizes independence and it views children as naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a sufficiently supportive and well-prepared learning environment.
